Our Journey
Impetro comes from the Latin word "Patro," meaning to accomplish, which embodies the essence of our brand. As mountain sports enthusiasts, we aimed to achieve something different. We noticed a gap in the market: if you participated in multiple mountain sports, you had to buy different backpacks, and if you valued quality like we do, this could become very expensive.
What began as a spark of an idea during a long car ride in the Austrian mountains has now evolved into Impetro Gear—the world's first zip-on/zip-off modular backpack system. Perhaps we were idealistic, perhaps a bit naive, but we believe in our products and are confident that you will love them too.
As of 2023, we started collaborating with an outdoor Canadian commerce company- Baltoro.

By reusing the same base unit—the costliest component of any backpack—we drastically reduce material and manufacturing expenses. This allows us to offer additional backpacks at a significantly lower price than if purchased separately, giving you the versatility of four premium backpacks for the price of one!
